Biographies!  This month, students are asked to read a biography (a book about a person's life).  The person can be from the present or past.  After reading the book, students must complete the poster report.  The posters are due Thursday, March 28th.  We'll also be showing them off during our end of the month Book Parade (dressing up is optional).  CAREFUL - there are no extra posters so please do not misplace it or spill anything on it!  Review the rubric with your child so they can earn the most points possible.

Be sure to ask your child about all the fun activities going on at school this month!  We're so excited to "Catch the Reading Wave"!!!  See the attachments for a calendar of planned events.  For every book he/she reads, he/she can fill out a fish to flood our hallways!  Return the At-Home Connection by April 8th to receive an exciting prize.

The fourth and fifth grade classes are going on a field trip to the Michigan Science Center on Wednesday, May 1.  Permission slips were sent home this week.  Please be sure and return the permission slip and $8 by Thursday, March 7.  Thank you!  We are all looking forward to the experience!

There will be a math test this Thursday, the 14th!  It is on the decimals unit.  A study guide was sent home today so be sure to study so you're ready.

Graebner is participating in activities all month focusing on kindness.  Students will be writing about kindness, attending an assembly about kindness, and sharing ideas of how to be kind to others throughout the month.  Please see the calendar below to see what activities can be done at home and over the weekends!  

Today the students are bringing home their Book-It project for the month of February.  This is something they need to do daily.  It is due on Thursday, February 28th!  Happy Reading!
